I feel like we probably sound like a broken record sometimes when we tell our Mommas “Wrap your Belly”. So many reasons why this is important as your belly grows and gets heavier.
~It helps with lower back pain lifting the weight of the belly from pulling you forward
~It helps bring the weight off your pubic bone to relieve pubic pressure especially as baby starts to engage.
~It helps keep baby in a good position especially if your doing your daily well women exercises or spinning babies.
~It helps to reduce swelling in the lower extremities especially in your ankles.
These and so many reasons why it’s good to wrap your belly! It’s always important to talk to your Midwife or healthcare provider to ensure you can & to ensure your doing it properly. You can wrap with a belly band, a belly belt or something as simple as a scarf!
