Shannon Evans LM

Shannon is a Licensed Midwife and a mother of 4 beautiful children. Shannon and the Natural BirthWorks team have been working together for years and Shannon will be providing any back up coverage for our birth center.

Shannon is a Miami native and a Florida licensed midwife (MW 281). She is also a proud wife and mother to four children, all born naturally, in birth centers and at home. After experiencing the care of midwives through her first two pregnancies, along with the challenges that came after, she recognized her calling to support other women on their own journeys through motherhood. She returned to her “birthing home” to study midwifery at the Miami Maternity Center and the International School of Midwifery, where she graduated in 2011. Upon completing midwifery school, Shannon honed her breastfeeding knowledge and skills as a lactation educator with the Miami-Dade County WIC program. She feels extremely lucky to have learned from an array of talented women: midwives, lactation consultants, and perhaps most importantly, the women she has served. Shannon also loves to share her experiences in cloth diapering, babywearing, and attachment parenting. In her “past life”, Shannon has also been a science and social studies teacher, and research assistant in the Bahamas, where she met and married her husband. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Ethnic Studies. Her youngest child (and only boy!) was born at home with the P3 team in November, 2013.

 Massage Therapist/Sacred Blessings

prenatal massage

Jennifer Mullins LMT

Therapist since 2001. I trained in Miami at Educating Hands School
of Massagehttp://www.educatinghands.com/. My Mother Massage®
training was with Elaine Stillerman of New York who has been a pioneer
in the prenatal massage industry. She has written many books on this
subject matter while still maintaining her practice in New York City for
over 30 years http://mothermassage.net.
I later trained with the late Crystal Loiacono in Infant Massage to instruct the
massage techniques and educate parents on the life long benefits of bonding
with their babies through massage.

I owe the wonderful experiences of naturally birthing my two sons and my daughter as well as my education in massage, it opened up my world to one that is positive, empowering, peaceful and natural. Bonding between parents and babies begins in utero, that is where I come in!

I would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you
the best guidance, education and support throughout this new and special journey.

 Doulas

Olga Proskuryakova

My name is Olga Proskuryakova. Originally I am from Russia, I know Russian language and culture. In my native country people believe in women`s power to give birth so this is very natural for me. I am a mom so I know what woman may experience from inside at the time of childbirth. Being a doula is a blessing for me and I take it as a mission. My job is to support women emotionally and physically and of course, to provide the information of any aspects of the pregnancy and birth.
I was trained as a doula in a very famous worldwide organization called CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association) in the USA. A lot of trainin and seminars were attended, many books and articles were read, so I became Certified Breastfeeding Counselor and Childbirth Educator. Then I took up a status of a Midwife Assistant.
I do different kinds of birth- homebirth, in birth centers and hospitals; experienced in different types of births (vaginal, cesarean, and vaginal after a C-section) and familiar with many unexpected situations in births. And I am sure that any childbirth can be sacred and beautiful.
To find your own doula is like to feel a close connect, it can be only “from heart to heart, from soul to soul”. I am on call 24/7. I make women to be confident, to believe in their power and to get through the birth in a harmony, being happy! I am ready to help them and their families in these unforgettable moments and to be a part of this sacramental process.
I live out every new childbirth with a woman, and it is so wonderful! …

Lisa Raynor

My name is Lisa Raynor and I’m a childbirth doula.  I have lived in South Florida almost my entire life and moved to the Coral Springs/Parkland area in 1999. My boys (ages 19, 17 and 12) are very involved in sports and I’ve been a baseball, soccer, basketball and bowling mom for years! I also love party planning and DIY crafts! I am a Pinterest addict for sure! I also love all things baby and pregnancy-related and reading is my favorite pastime.

For as long as I can recall, I have had a passion for helping moms during pregnancies and caring for their newborns. I know from experience that this is a very exciting and sometimes overwhelming time. I decided I wanted to become a childbirth and postpartum doula after the birth of my second son in 2001. I have spent the past 17 years learning all I can about pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care for moms.

I attend hospital births only and I have worked in every hospital in Broward County and Boca. I have experience with first-time moms, IVF moms, high-risk moms, induced labors, c sections, unmedicated labors, VBACs, breastfeeding and postpartum depression. To give my clients the most attention possible, I only take two clients a month. My clients have access to me 24/7 via phone calls and text and we meet in person often.

Franceska Willis

Hi, my name is Franceska Willis I am a full time trained birth doula and a mother to three amazing children. I use my knowledge in childbirth, motherhood, Childbirth education, to be a great supporting doula and to help clients have a positive birth experience. My deepest passion is guiding and supporting couples who are seeking to give birth by VBAC (Vaginal Birth after Cesarean) as well as teen mothers. As a mom myself and a having given birth via Cesarean as a teen, I feel I can offer a great amount of support to these moms before, during, and after birth. My experience with having my son inspired me to become a doula I truly believe it is your body, your baby, your birth, and my honor to support you on your journey to motherhood.

Renata Rosa
My name is Renata Rosa. I am originally from Brazil and I have been blessed to live in the USA since 2005. In addition to speaking English, I also have the privilege of speaking Portuguese. I fell in love with births and postpartum care in 2010, when I provided support to my friend in the birth and postpartum care of her first child. But it wasn’t until 2013, when I had my son and a amazing support from my doula, that I understood the impact of that kind of support for a family in such an important moment of their life. I officially became a birth and postpartum doula in January of 2017, receiving training through DONA.I strive to be a warm and supportive presence as parents create a birth they will always remember. I am comfortable and experienced with whatever birthing environment you choose to have. When I am not doulaing, I absolutely love spending time with my family and learning new things.
